Texas Music for Life is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide assistance to Texas Musicians of various genres of music who are experiencing financial problems due to a serious illness, disability or age-related issues.
On October 9, 2011, Texas Music for Life presented its first concert, “Tunes for Tupin” – a tribute to local businessman/musician/community activist, Randy Tupin, who is currently recovering from treatment for throat cancer. We are happy to report that he is cancer free and doing very well. The performances from that event were recorded, and a compilation CD is finished. A CD release party has been scheduled for March 3rd at the Country Barn.
WHAT: CD Release Party
WHERE: The Country Barn Steak House, 8200 I-40 West, Amarillo, TX
WHEN: March 3, 2012 : 7:00 – 10:00 p.m.

The CD, which contains 17 tracks of original songs by local songwriters, will be available for purchase, as well as Texas Music for Life T-shirts. The CD will be previewed throughout the evening, and there will also be live performances by some of the writers. The Country Barn will provide a buffet at a reduced price.
