Bryan Kelley never dreamed that music would be a driving force in his life but since 2003 that has certainly been the case. An Amarillo native with humble beginnings of basic guitar chords and a few lessons with legendary local teacher Jerry Thompson, Bryan knew he wanted to pursue music from the onset. What began to unfold 8 short years ago however was definitely not on the radar. To make a longish story short Bryan began writing songs after high school as he excelled at playing the guitar and he then took a major step by starting a band after graduating from SMU in Dallas TX. Bryan played every hole in the wall that would have him and learned from the best in the business every chance he got. Bryan also spent (and still spends) a great deal of time in Nashville honing his craft with some of the best musicians around. Fast forward a few years and you’ll now find Bryan married to the love of his life along with an adorable 2 year old son and 1 month old daughter. You’ll also find that Bryan has developed into a very gifted singer/songwriter (not just bragging this has been validated through many 3rd party sources!!!) Bryan’s current band (Scott Nall, David Freyer, Rick Faucette, Bobby Mcaulley, and Bob Hopkins) released a 6 song EP titled “Just Another Day” this summer to rave reviews and have been playing the Texas Panhandle nonstop. As his career has exploded Bryan has been lucky enough to play shows with likes of Charlie Robison, Eli Young Band, and Robert Earl Keen just name a few. Anyone who meets Bryan notices his laid back personality but put him on stage and a musical fireball erupts sending girls to the dance floor and cash into the register of every venue he plays. If you ever have the chance to catch one of Bryan’s shows you won’t be disappointed. After all he might just be the next big thing in country music!
