The voice of singer/songwriter Tennessee Tuckness is a study in contrast – tough and tender, sultry and cool.
Her songs are equal parts folk rock and country, with a dash of the blues sprinkled in. Bittersweet emotion is the ingredient that blends Tennessee’s unique sound together — emotion as heartfelt and deep as that of her greatest musical influences, Stevie Nicks, Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris and Ryan Adams. “I Am Not Forsaken”, Tennessee’s debut CD, was released in 1998. Tennessee’s single, “We Fly”, has been signed with Transition Music Corporation of Hollywood, California.
She then delivered “Project Little Feat” (2001), includes a haunting rendition of Van Morrison’s “Tupelo Honey” and Led Zeppelin’s “Goin to California” — the songs are a sweep from moody, romantic and emotional to upbeat, edgy and raw.
Tennessee released her 3rd release as of April 18, 2008 entitled “November Road”. Johnny Reverb and Marc Durham of Creative Audio of Amarillo have added much of their expertise and energy into the production.
